Football

The heroic battle begins with a kick lofting a ball through the air in a beautiful gentle arc

Competitors, bulked up by drugs and padding, rush at each other hoping to secure the flying orb. It is caught, running up the field the catcher is tackled by the kickers

Teams line up facing each other one attacking one guarding

Play begins with the attackers running the ball or floating the pigskin through the air.

Gaining ground is a success losing ground a failure. Success is furthered by reaching the defenders end of the field and scoring

The battle rages back and forth with each team taking turns at attacking and defending

The campaign goes on for a specific length of time until a winner is declared

The battle is won by the body of competitors who notch the most points

After the battle adversaries, who just finished beating on each other shake hands in friendship the game ended

And life goes on until the next contest.
