Road Trip
Went
on a road trip
To
help come to grip
With
the death of our friend
We
addressed
His
last request
By
spreading his ashes
In
small little batches
They
went into the great lakes
Floating
like little flakes
Of grey lint
Doing
a sprint
Out
into the lakes
Now
our friend is really gone
And
we the living carry-on
A
small measure of closure attained
Yet
our grief remained
Somewhat
tamed
