Golden Tears

Golden Tears
My heart bleeds
For thee
Logic concedes
To a stormy emotional sea

Waves of sorrow and passion
Clash in
My head
Till I begin to shed

Golden tears

Morning Runs

Morning Runs
The inky black darkness
Is pierced by the white light
Of the bloated full moon

The morning crisp
Frigid air freezes lungs
Sidewalks icy

The stillness is broken
By pounding feet
And panting breath

Early morning runs are invigorating
Especially on a cold
Winter day

Snow

Snow
Slipping & sliding
Nightmarish navigation
Obscured optics

Joy

Joy
The joy starts
In the ethereal awareness
Cupped in my hands

From a small seed
The joy grows
Until like a flower
Pushing out of the ground
The joy erupts out the ether
Radiating outward

Spreading peace, light and joy
To everyone

Pink or Blue

Pink or Blue
Pink or blue
Which color is for you?
Society says blue is for men
And pink is feminine

Why is it like this?
Pastel colors are the bomb
Pure bliss
Good at keeping one calm

So I don’t care
What you think
I will wear
Blue or pink
And I will not shrink
From the ballyhoo

Because I think
Different than you
